hammer | Rocktave Divider | 1/21/101 2:07 am | |
---|---|---|---|
This is a scan of the "Build the Rocktave" article that Craig Anderton had in GP in the early 80's. I find it to be an extremely reliable octave divider, in terms of tracking, and no slouch with respect to tone. Get the 18" speakers out, mother; they're reviving the movie "Earthquake"! Just a word of caution about that article. The PC-mask is likely not exactly to scale. You may have to tweak the size a bit at your end for PnP or other forms of board construction. The PDF also includes the followup article which describes use of a 4017 counter to add other intervals, plus some other mods. For the most part, fairly legible. The crucial parts are clear however.
